Finally, we have a TV! It's brand-new! It's LCD! It's big! Woo-hoo!!!

Amazingly enough, we went without a TV for almost 5 months since we moved to Tokyo. It was doable, but it is certainly nice to have a TV - makes our living room more complete. Needless to say, Steve has already started a LOTR (Special Extended Edition, of course) marathon...

One thing we've realized, though- Unfortunately, a nice new TV with great picture quality doesn't make the quality of Japanese TV programs any better. Japanese TV programs, especially dramas, are mostly aweful with bad acting + corny dialog+ low production quality...
