PS3

We were in Aoyama yesterday and had a chance to check out the PlayStation 3s on display in the lobby of the Sony Computer Entertainment building. Amazing graphics, especially on those huge widescreen monitors. They had some great looking videos of the new Metal Gear Solid game, some Mobile Suit Gundam thing, and a bunch of others, but very few playable demos. The only ones I actually tried were Ridge Racer 7 (I can't drift worth a damn) and Devil May Cry 3 (an old PS2 game, apparently).

I haven't really done any console gaming since my N64 days, but I'm thinking that now might be a good time to renew my addiction. At least it would give me an excuse to finally break down and buy a television.
